At the launch of the NTUC Plus on 6th January 2008, NTUC members and their families thronged Ang Mo Kio Hub for a day of fun and games hosted by MediaCorp artiste Michelle Chong.

The event showcased the many benefits and features of NTUC Plus Card, with games and booths set up by OCBC, LinkPoints and NTUC Membership.
Members got to know the characteristics and benefits of the card better by taking part in games and contests organized just for them.
And of course, many walked away with prizes which included diamonds, shopping and gift vouchers, spa treatments and household appliances. |

Highlights of the Day |

The “Pick a Diamond” game was the highlight of the day where 10 diamonds were given away. Members who picked out the most cases with diamond tags in it won a diamond.

| Over at the LinkPoints booth was a tree called “Flame of LinkPoints”. In this challenging game, contestants were given 30 seconds to hook out as many merchant logo tags as they can from the tree. The more logo tags the contestant hooked out, the better the prize. |

Members also had the opportunity to enjoy sure-win prizes in the “Spin the Wheel”. Some members even walked away with Taiyo Induction Cookers worth up to S$439 each when they answered the correct questions in this contest!
NTUC Plus awards more LinkPoints to NTUC Plus cardmembers when they purchase OCBC products. The “More LinkPoints with OCBC” booth game saw members trying to match the number of LinkPoints awarded for the various OCBC products purchased by members. |

With the ez-link facility on the NTUC Plus Card, members enjoyed themselves at the “Travel with NTUC Plus”contest, a snakes and ladders game based on the MRT routes. Simply roll the gigantic dice and move along the track. Watch out for the slippery snakes and seize your chance on any ladder to move ahead! Whoever reaches his destination first wins! |

The 4 different pairs of interest groups with 1 wild card logos are mixed and placed randomly behind a flip board. The day ended with NTUC members having better knowledge and awareness of the enhanced benefits provided by NTUC Plus. There was also a positive response as many NTUC members signed up for NTUC Plus Card. Many took the opportunity so that they can immediately participate in the games and contests and win prizes! Many also wanted to enjoy more LinkPoints when they shop as the festive season is coming with lots of shopping to be done. |
